Our coaching academy is a vehicle for developing a coaching culture throughout the Trust to help develop, engage, motivate and care for our staff to deliver better patient care. It will support us to consistently have a “culture of caring” which both our staff and patients will experience.

Senior Telephony Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Telephony Engineer to join our small but growing team of dedicated IT professionals. We support the delivery of information technology and Telephony to around 5,500 NHS staff working at Stepping Hill Hospital and over 30 sites in the Stockport community.
The post holder will have significant experience of managing and maintaining a Cisco Telephony Service that includes VOIP, Call Managers and WebEx. You will have responsibility for operational and strategic support in conjunction with the Network Manager of the Telecoms infrastructure, which contains switches, routers, firewalls, wireless controllers, Cisco Call Managers, VOIP, WebEx, authentication servers etc. Formal Cisco qualification would be highly advantageous.
You will provide technical assistance and support to staff, system administrators, service providers and our colleagues in partner care organisations. At times you will be required to work off site therefore you must have the use of your own vehicle and a full valid driving license. You will also participate in an on-call rota to provide out of hours support.
This is a senior position in the department, occasionally deputising for the Network & Telephony Lead in all matters related to Telephony with line-management responsibility for developing, managing and motivating the Telephony Engineer. Strong interpersonal and communication skills will be of equal importance to technical ability.
